I have no definite location for Gravenhurst but can offer the following which may be helpful. Looking at an image of the 1841 Census I have found a John and Martha MOORCROFT at Gravenhurst, this is on FMP, going to the previous page there is a family living at Crowfoot, if this was the previous place the enumerator visited then it may help to point to Gravenhursts location. Crowfoot is a very tiny hamlet about 1 mile west of Church Broughton, 2 or 3 properties remain, the main one being Crowfoot Kennels. Looking at a map of around 1900 I could not find any mention of Gravenhurst though. Hope this helps in some way Regards Henry Griffiths
