    3. I know that at least one other person on here (Brett Payne) has recently had their Rootsweb Freepages website restored. Whilst I’m delighted that mine is back online, I still can’t access it via my FTP program to update it. Is this a problem other people are having and is there a solution – or are the Freepages sites now Read Only? You can upload new data - I found the necessary information here: http://rootsweb.blog/2018/07/19/getting-into-the-new-version-of-your-hosted-web-site/ Pauline On 28/08/2018 07:50, Alan Bloor wrote: > I know that at least one other person on here (Brett Payne) has recently had their Rootsweb Freepages website restored. 3. Thanks for that Pauline, though I still have no joy as I’ve used the link to reset my password but got no reply. I’ve done it twice now and checked my junk mail folder too. So frustrating! 3. Hi Alan Could it be your browser? Recently I could not access Ancestry "Sharing" tab. I had previously always been able to get it to share my trees, and invite people to them. I telephoned Ancestry to be told that they had upgraded and Firefox would not work as well, that they preferred us to use Google chrome. I am a bit contrary and don't like to be told what browser I will use, so I use Firefox for ordinary Ancestry searching unless I need the sharing tab- then I use Chrome. regards Hilary
