    1. [NewCastle] Pecander David Jones +: Mill Creek George Brown Ball 1745
    2. HERMON B FAGLEY
    3. Our group has been years tracing Thomas and Mary Ball [?] Brown b 1734-d 1818. We've never proved them earlier than their daughter's marriages at Moorefield,WV on the South Branch,Potomac about 1778. From then on,we knew their every move. To Bourbon Co,Ky and Clermont Co,sw Ohio. And proven much published about them in error. Now,DNA tests point to David Jones, whose 1745 will in Pecander Hundred,New Castle, mentions daus Rachel Williams,Mary Deal, and many Jones, and also George Brown's children, John,Thomas,Wm, and George Brown. [Of Mill Creek Hundred,or future Harford Co,Md. Esther Morgan was David Jones wife ,they say,and son Morgan and Jane Jones [sister?] witnessed,at [East?] Nottingham,1728, Thomas Oldham to Rachel Littler's marriage. Wildly guessing Sept 11,1777 Battle of Brandywine ruined Brown's,and force move to semi-frontier, or that they lived awhile in n e Va counties. George Tate and Mary Malin,of [??] Kennett meeting maay be parents of Thomas Brown's brother ,John Brown's wife. Some of the Tate's and Brown's of Kennett [old Newark] meeting moved to Fairfax Co,Va in 1762. N E Va had many Quaker meetings. Not that we can prove the Thomas Brown's Quaker. Wife Mary was Baptist in her last years, but had not lived near a Quaker meeting in years. Welsh Jones, likely, and some say Brown's were also. ________________________________________________________________ Sign Up for Juno Platinum Internet Access Today Only $9.95 per month!
