    3. In case you don't already have this, here's another Isaac Hyatt mention that I have in my New Castle Co. files. 436. Deed. 19 May 1767. Isaac Hyat of St. Georges Hun. in Co of New Castle, Admin of all which were of Thomas Hyatt, late of same place, dec'd., who died Intestate, send greeting. This is whereas Thomas Hyatt senior, late of sd Hun & Co., dec'd., was seized of diverse tracts of land. In his Last Will, dated 16 Feb 1736, he devised his sd lands to his two sons, John and Thomas, to be divided. After the division, Thomas, the son, died Intestate without issue. Administration on 16 April 1765 by Theodore Maurice, Esq went to afsd Isaac Hyatt. On 21 Nov 1766 at Publick Vendue, sd Isaac sold a tract of land in sd Co. to James Shaw for the sum of 285 pounds 4 shilling 3 pence ½ penny. It bounds land of John Hyatt by Rudy Island Road and land of Joseph Anderson. It contained 124 acres 1 perch by late survey made by Peter Hyatt. Signed: ISAAC Hyatt. Perhaps a Thomas Hyatt named a son Isaac after his relation Isaac Cannon? Deed. 12-Aug-1738. John VanDike of St. George's Hundred in Co. of New Castle, Executor of the Last Will & Testament of Andrew VanDike of sd place, dec'd., for the sum of 40 pounds, sold unto Abraham Gooding of sd place, yeoman (as high bidder), a seventh part of a plantation & tract of land, late the share of David VanDyke. This is property that sd Andrew in his lifetime was seized of. It was situate on the north side of Drawyers Creek, bounding the lands of Thomas Hyatt, Gart Dushene, sd Abraham Gooding, and contained 160 acres. In sd Andrew's Last Will, dated 20-May-1730, he bequeathed his land to be equally divided amongst all his sons & daughters, excepting his son Stanley. Division made insufficient for bringing up the youngest child of sd Andrew, afsd son David. Orphans Court on 16-May-1738 before John Richardson, Charles Springer, Jehu Curtis, John Finney, Thomas James and Thomas Noxon ordered selling 1/7 if said plantation belonging to sd. David. The nearest relations of sd David, namely Thomas Hyatt and Isaac Cannon, certified the desired sale; condition was when sd David reaches 21, the amount of forty pounds (amt. paid to each of his brothers and sisters for like share) be accountable to him. In the meantime, sd David to be put out as an apprentice when he becomes 14 years. William Vardiman of Appoqunimink Hundred in Co. of New Castle of Delaware, Bricklayer & Elinor his wife, for the sum of 3 pounds, sold until Robert Bullock of sd place, Cordwainer, a certain tract of land & tenements thereon situate on the North side of Duck Creek in afsd. Hundred and Co., containing 35 acres. Wit: David Hyatt. Deed. 13-Feb-1749. William Vardiman of Appoqunimink Hundred in Co. of New Castle of Delaware, Bricklayer & Elinor his wife, for the sum of 46 pounds, sold unto Timothy Webster of sd. place, a certain tract of land situate lying on the forks of Black Birds [Blackbird] Creek in afsd. Hundred and Co., containing 92 acres...Wit: David Hyatt. Deed. 15-May-1750. Michael Sigman of the Hundred & Co. of New Castle, Weaver, & Elizabeth, his wife, sold unto Thomas Hyatt of St. George's Hundred, Yeoman, a parcel of land situate lying in St. George's Hun.,...containing 19-1/2 acres and 10 poles. Deed. 16-Nov-1750. Deed. 19-May-1752. Hon. James Hamilton of City of Phila., in Province of Penn., Esq, John Moland of sd place, Esq., and John Inglis of sd place, Merchant, for the sum of 13 pounds, 10 shillings, sold unto Thomas Hyatt of Co. of New Castle on Delaware, Yeoman, a portion of land bounded by land of Amos Nichols, Robert Guthrie, late John Williams Lurkenseller, dec'd., containing 12 acres. Recorded 13-Dec-1750. (Q1:402) Deed. 19-May-1752. Hon. James Hamilton of City of Phila., in Province of Penn., Esq, John Moland of sd place, Esq., and John Inglis of sd place, Merchant, for the sum of 100 pounds, 10 shillings, sold unto James Anderson of Co. of New Castle, Yeoman, a tract of land situate in sd. Co., beginning on the road from Reedy Island [Reedy Point] to Bohemia by land of Thomas Hyatt, David Hyatt, John Culbertson & Abraham Evans, containing 100-1/2 acres. (Q1:631) Deed. 18-Aug-1759. Peter Hyatt of St. George's Hundred & County of New Castle upon Delaware, and Martha his wife, for the sum of 157 pounds, sold unto James Anderson of sd place, a parcel of land situate in sd place containing 70 acres, together with buildings and improvements thereon. This was part of a larger tract...released unto John and Ann Ashton & Richard Humphries, and they sold same unto Thomas Hyatt in 1722. And sd Hyatt in his Lst Will & Testament, in 1742, bequeathed unto his sons Caleb and afsd Peter. (T1-128) Deed. 13-Feb-1760. Rees Rees, Henry Vandike & Nicholas VanDike, all of Co. of New Castle upon Delaware, Yeomen, for the sum of 5 shillings apiece (in hand paid by Reverend John Rogers), Isaac Cannon...Peter Hyatt...all of the same Co., do grant for the use of the Presbyterian Congregation who shall frequent the House for Religious Worship, the herein described lot of ground...situate in Red Lion Hundred in sd Co., about a mile from the town of St. George's, being the lot whereon the Presbyterian Meeting House stands. It begins at a cornerstone by the Great Road, and contains 1 acre, 55 perches. (T1:132) Deed. 6-May-1760. Thomas Hyatt of the City of London in the Kingdom of Great Britain, merchant, Thomas Reynolds, clothworker, of same City, and Thomas Howe of White Heart Court in Grace Church Street in sd City, only surviving ffeofs. in Trust of the Lands belonging to Pennsylvania Land Co. in London, by Francis Rawle of Phila, merchant, attorney for afsd, for the sum of 125 pounds, sold unto William Robinson of Rockland Manor in [Brandywine Hundred] in Co. of New Castle on Delaware, yeoman, a tract of land situate in sd Manor. (T1:137) 15-May-1762. Benjamin Thomas of Appoquinimink Hundred in Co. of New Castle upon Delaware, yeoman, for the sum of 69 pounds, 8 shillings, sold unto John League of same place, weaver, a tract of land situate on the north branch of Duck Creek, containing 22 acres. It begins at a corner stone of land belonging to the heirs of James Hyatt. (U1:89) Judgement. 1-Oct-1763. Whereas Obadiah Elliot in the Court if Common Pleas before Justices, hath recovered against Thomas Hyatt of sd Co., yeoman, a debt of 40 pounds and damages. Sd. Sheriff directed to seize god and lands of sd Hyatt. Seized and taken into execution are one messuage plantation and tract of land situate in St. George's Hundred, containing 203 acres. It begins at Green's Forest and bounds the lands of Thomas Hyatt [a different Thomas?] and Abraham Golden. The premises were exposed for sale by Public notice and was purchased by Joseph Anderson for the sum of 665 pounds, he being the highest bidder. Recorded 26-Mar-1764. (W1:232) Deed. Aug, 1762. Cornelius Carty of St. George's Hundred in Co. of New Castle upon Delaware, and Mary his wife, for the sum of 10 pounds, sold unto Gertrude Rothwill of Appoquinimink Hun. in sd. Co., a tract of land situate on the head of Silver Run and sundry lots of meadow, situate in St. George's Hd., formerly belonging to the estate of Abraham Gooding, dec'd. The first tract bounds the lands of John Hanson, John Vance, Samuel Anderson, and land late of Caleb Hyatt, to line of Isaac Vandike, and contains 141 acres. (U1:531)
