Hello everyone, Subscribing today in hopes of getting some important information from some listers. We have decided to relocate as we are now retired and are looking to downsize in just about everything. We have heard some very nice comments about living in the State of Delaware. Would some of you care to share some information about your state with us? My hubby is an avid fisherman and hunter. (mainly in Penna), He does woodwork and is a retired electrician from the IBEW. I do crafts, reading, beachcombing, serious genealogy research, the usual with my grandchildren (Living in Virginia). We would like to be near water, either the ocean or inland. We would like low taxes, low car insurance rates and good goverment..... Perhaps a duplex in a nice neighborhood, a condo without high fees. A place that likes dogs...(Labrador) We are looking for suggestions from all walks of life. From real people not Brokers and Developers. Only the folks that live the life can tell about it. Anthing that comes to mind give us a holler. We can come look and walk about during the week, never on a weekend. I know this is not strictly genealogy, I do that 24/7 in my research. but perhaps the list owner will bend the rules.:) Many thanks for your forbearance. DEL
And Hello to you, I can't help much on Delaware but I can say hello to husband, the retired electrician as I am aso retired from the IBEW where I served for 25 years as an Int'l. Rep. in the 3rd District. Best wishes brother.
