Getting started on your Irish family research? The Wilmington Irish Family History Research Group will offer a free lecture on The Tithe Applotment, 1823 through 1838, a census substitute, Saturday April 3 at 11 A.M. It will be held at the Wilmington Family History Center, 143 Dickinson Lane, Westhaven, Wilmington. These talks are part of an ongoing free series to teach the tools of Irish family research. We will also have a presentation by William Kirk who has transcribed St Joseph's on the Brandywine tombstones with an Irish place of origin on them! he will bring the transcriptions. This is a plus!!
