    2. ..........from Deed book D2 178. Deed. 18 Feb 1779. John Evans, Esq., late of Mill Creek Hun. in NCC, surviving Exec. of Last Will of Hannah Bonham, late of sd Hun., dec'd., for £900 sold to Heath John of same place, farmer, two tracts of land now joined containing 136 acres. They bound land of Joshua Baker, land late of William West, land formerly of John Scott, land that Thomas Chandler conveyed to Jonathan Langley, land formerly of William Denny & now of James Hicklan, land late of Adam Kirk, land late of Joseph Nichols,, land late of Ann Houghton & now William Wallers. Whereas John Heath, late of Christiana Hun., yeoman dec'd., by Indenture dated 27 March 1735 (Lib/K pp/330) from Thomas Chandler and Mary his wife was seized of a tract of land. It bounded to W land of Joshua Baker, to N land late of William West, to NE by land late of John Scott and land late of Jonathan Langley, to SE by land then of William Denny, now of James Hicklan, to SW by other land of sd Heath, containing 88 acres. Whereas sd John Heath purchased from Thomas Nichols a piece of land next adjoining. Then so seized of two tracts, sd John Heath made his Last Will, dated 8 Dec 1747, and devised his estate to his wife, afsd Hannah . Whereas land purchased from sd Nichols had not been confirmed by Patent, sd Hannah Heath petitioned James Hamilton, L. Gov. under Thomas Penn & John Penn, for confirmation. By Patent dated 20 Dec 1748 confirmed same (Book/A Roll/15 pp/97). Whereas a marriage intended between sd Hannah Heath and Malakiah Bonham of Kingwood in Hunterdon Co. in West Jersey agreement made that sd Bonham should have partition with her to value of £100 & residue to her own disposal. Indenture Tripartate, dated 20 July 1751, between Hannah Heath of 1st part, William Webb and John Garret of 2nd part, and sd Bonham of 3rd. (Description given). Evan Rice, since dec'd, appointed Exec of her Will, and sd John Evans. Will dated, 10 Oct 1767, it read "As to my Mill & Mill lot I hold in Joint Tenancy with Aaron Mendenhall, William Phillips ... & my 88 acres of land .. & my 48 acres w/messuage .. Exer's to sell.." James Latimer and/or John Thompson, Attny's. Signed: John Evans. Wit: Robert Phillips, John Stapler. Rec: 2 Feb 1779. (D2-74) 180. Deed. 18 Feb 1779. John Evans, Esq., late of Mill Creek Hun. in NCC, surviving Exec. of the Last Will of Hanah Bonham, late of sd Hun., dec'd., for £160 sold to James Phillips of same place, yeoman, a fourth share in herein described 3 lots & Mills. Whereas sd Hannah Bonham, formerly Hannah Heath, & widow & Exec. of the Will of her husband, John Heath, by Indenture dated 30 Jan 1750/51 (Lib/Q pp/440) from John Buckingham & Sarah his wife was seized of an equal undivided fourth of following three lots of land, with equal in the Mills & improvements. The 1st (mill pond) contains 1 acre 11 per. The 2nd (the Mill) on Mill Creek contains 100 perches. The 3rd (mill race) contains 1 acre 116 per. Whereas a marriage intended between sd Hannah Heath and Malakiah Bonham of Kingwood in Hunterdon Co. in West Jersey agreement made that sd Bonham should have partition with her to value of £100 & residue to her own disposal.
