Anyone who has famine-era Irish immigrants to the Wilmington area should look to the two latest editions of the Delaware Genealogical Society's Journal.DuPont apparently paid for tickets for families and their names are listed. Kathy, This is be a long shot, but please look: Is there a __ McCUE family in which the parents (both Irish emigrants) would be the right age to have daughter Catherine b. 1866?? She later lived in NJ, but I don't see a good canduidate for parents for her there. Possible first name of the father might be Daniel or Robert. Meanwhile I will check census for DE.
