Edward Wright There are Carsons there <1800, the earliest is the marriage of Richard Carson & Ann James of "Willing, New Castle Co., Willing Town" 19-8 1738 I suggest that you check out the Quaker-Roots List as there is a gentleman that is a Quaker historian who did a great deal of work in SE PA. and DE. Look at the archives first to see what already exists. I've already looked at the Early Church Records and have that information. Someone asserts that there is more detailed information in the Delaware Quaker Records (births/deaths etc.) on the early Carsons. What I'm doing is collecting documation/records as a basis for establishing Carson adults in the US before 1775 in an effort to maybe establish relationships and get my particular carsons back to Ireland. I did, of course, explore what was available at the Quaker Corners site. Unfortunaely, the Quaker Roots archives are apparently no longer available to be searched (along with some others).
