Hello Linda, Noticed that you have a book on early church records of NC county. Would you be willing to look up the surname HERDMAN? They lived in White Clay Creek, NC county, and later Wilmington. Any Herdman is probably related although the particular interest is John, William and Benjamin. The time period is 1800-1900. I believe their religious affiliation was Presbyterian.
