I'm emailing a few of my related mailing lists in hopes of getting specific answers back from those lists. Can anyone tell me if we should rely 100% on the microfilm that the LDS and FHC have on file regarding births, deaths, deeds, probate, wills, marriages, etc. I'm asking because one of the family members who is helping with research got alot of films from the LDS and FHC and found nothing to what she was looking for. I was wondering if alot of the historical societies, genealogy societies in each county and/or state would have alot of books that haven't been microfilmed. Thanks for any help. Teri Tighe
