Hi Sharon, Thanks for the reply. I could use a little help. I have received info from the Hagley museum and Soda house by mail but have never been there. I found driving directions and hours from the web site. Thank you. I am looking for information on my ggg grandfather (his name was also John Welsh if I am correct) who died in an explosion at the gun powder plant in 1815. He was from Ireland so that is the kind of history I am looking for. I would like to know where he was buried and the names of his children and where he was married. Should I visit just the Soda house or the Hagley museum as well. Time will be somewhat tight. Should I plan for more that one day? Anything special I should be aware of? Are all the records pretty available or do they have to go off site for some of them? And by the way, is their room to park a motor home? So many questions. Any information is appreciated.
