Hi Amy, Thank you for your answer to my query. From a general consensus of answers to this query, I guess we should be aware of the wording in the contract for research. . My husband was a professor at a university and he said that anything that he did as research on university time belonged to the university. That seems obvious. I would hate to have paid for a researcher to do research for me (not a small fee), and then at a later date decide to publish this information and find out that I was the one who was infringing on someone else's work.
