John, my John Welsh was in New Castle and was married to Margaret Elliott. He had a twin sister by the name of Anne. They were baptised in the Old Swedes church in 1767. I have to get some probates out and look at them. His mother was Eleanor Elliott, and his father was John Welsh. He married his cousin. His wife, Margaret was the sister of my grandfather, John Elliott. I noticed you plan to go to Wilmington in October. I had planned a trip in Oct. also, but I am not certain now. I have been there twice, but still looking for addl. information. Several of these people are buried in the Wilmington and Brandywine Cemetery. Don't know about John and Margaret. This is a large cemetery, but I think there is an index at the library on Market St. A lot of my Elliotts' are buried in the church yard of the Old Swedes church, but believe his mother Eleanor, Mark Elliott and my grandmother Jane or Jean are buried at this cemetery. They are not buried in the Old Swedes churchyard. Some of them were buried at another cemetery and moved to the Wilmington and Brandywine. If you have the probate would you please let me know the gist of it. I thought it was strange that they only had two children, but never suspected John had passed away so young.
