Elzire was the daughter of Joseph Demers and Marguerite Brisson. According to the scant information I have, my ancestor was "Adzie" Demers. She married a Louis Allard and they in turn had a son Louis/Lewis Allard. Louis and "Adzie" were the first of my Allard line to come into Vermont (St. Albans). I am hoping Elzire and Adzie are the same person. Also, if anyone has the name of the wife of Louis/Lewis Allard, I would very much like to know. The few vital records I have on the children do not give a complete name.
