Went to NH for a funeral. It does look like we follow the same line up to Joseph Marie Demers and Marguerite Demers. It is not uncommon to see cousins marry. I also have it on my fathers side. They were also related distantly. For Joseph Marie b. 1754 in St. Nicolas, Levis, Quebec. m Oct. 10, 1774 in St. Nicolas to Marguerite Demers b. Mar 10, 1753, in St. Nicolas. I have for their son Louis-Augustin Demers b. abt 1782 in Quebec, m July 28, 1807 St. Nicolas to Marie-Josette Hoffman-Molleur b abt 1787 Quebec Provence, d in Quebec.
