My information is a bit sketchy, but he married an Sioux Indian woman (don't know her name) and had a daughter named Madeline (spelling changed to Dumerce) who was my great, great grandmother). She married a man by the name Robidoux or Rubedeau in 1857. They had a daughter, Elizabeth, born May 5, 1858, in Minnesota who married William Baillie McIntosh. They had a daughter, Almira Ruth McIntosh, who was my grandmother. She attended the Hampton Normal & Agricultural School from 1904-1907 and married George Rebo in 1912 Sounds like the same family. I'm trying to find out more information on Frances, his wife, their daughter Madeline and her husband Robidoux or Rubedeau.
