Frédéric Israël Demers, born and baptized Nov.26,1845 in St.François-du-Lac (Yamaska), QC, Canada. Married Marie Desrosiers-Deguire Feb.27,1865 at St.Michel Church in Yamaska, QC, Canada. I found one son: Frédéric Demers, born Nov.16,1865 and baptized Nov.17,1865 in St.David (Yamaska), QC, Can Cesarie and Desange are not twins. Césarie was born June 29,1838, baptized July 1st,1838 in St.François-du-Lac (Yamaska), QC, Canada. I have not yet found Desange's birth and/or baptism; although there was a sister named Hélène born and baptized Feb.4,1841 in Yamaska, QC, Canada. I have no marriage or death for Hélène; could she be Desange, I wonder. The eldest sibling was Magloire Demers (Aug.20,1836) and there was also Jean Baptiste Demers (March 22, 18 For your records Dennis Rainville (my ggg uncle)was born Sept.9,1832 and baptized Sept.10,1832 as Jean Baptiste Dieudonné Rainville (so Dennis and Jean Baptiste are one person) in Ste-Geneviève-Berthier, QC, Canada. He married Césarie Demers Oct.19,1859 in St.David (Yamaska), QC, Canada The dates and places I gave you were all checked against the original registers. If you want details on the Dauplaise (way back to France) and the Col or Scolle (from Germany), let me know.
