Jean Demers came to Canada with his 3 sons. Etienne, André and Jean. Étienne (Dumay) married Françoise Morin and takes root at Sainte Foy, André married Marie Chedville and stays in Ville-Marie (Montreal) Jean wed Jeann Védié and lives in Quebec cIf you visit Quebec City you will find Jean's house at 28, boulevard Champlain and/or 39 rue du Petit Champlain. I have been there. My ancestor is Jean Demers (Dumay). Ironically my wedding name is now Jean. My name is Diane Demers Jean.
