I have very little to go on. This is the sum total of all my data after 4 years of searching: Joseph Noel Demers was a widower with 3 children when he married my grandmother, Aline (Galarneau) Houle, also a widow with 4 children. The marriage intention was published 27 Jul 1940 in Lowell,MA papers. He lived in Lowell, MA most of his life. His first wife was Eglantine. She died in May 1933. I vaguely remember his birthday was either Christmas or around it, accounting for his middle name, but I have no clue in what year he was born, or where. He was a machinist for the Boston and Maine RR. His children that I knew as "Uncle/aunt" even if they were not blood relatives: Raymond, Reina, and Fernand. Were there others? He had at least one brother: Cyrille P Demers who married Marie Alma Soulard in 1946. I don't believe this last couple had any children. Cyrille played the fiddle. He also had 2 sisters who went off to California and joined the convent. Would like to find - date & place of birth, his parents' names - date of death (in Lowell, after 1962), - date & place of his first marriage - date of marriage to my grandmother I don't have access to Census info, but that might be a starting point if someone can help.
