He would have been in the Ottawa, Ontario area around 1927. He was with a woman by the name of Annie Last. They had a child together out of wedlock (my grandmother). Annie told Henri that the baby had died but obviously she didn't. She was then adopted to Peter and Maggie Beaupre of Ottawa. We found out through our research that Annie's aunt, Elsie Last, lived next door to the Beaupre's. All I know from my grandmother is that his name was Henri Demers Proulx and his family owned a car dealership (doesn't make sense to me but I'm putting it in anyways in case some bells ring) I'm looking for any information you may have.
