I found an Henri Proulx born about 1907. The 1911 census lists him in Ottawa, as the son of Emmanuel Proulx and Alma Dery. Perhaps the "Demers" was actually an error and it should have been Dery. Henri had brothers Romeo and Aurelien. You mentioned a car dealership.
