They were married on August 19, 1889 in Somersworth, NH. On the marriage record Elise's parents are listed as Augustus and Adelarde. They had four children... Marie Delvinia, Elizabeth, Albert and Joseph. Elise died between 1893 and 1899, though I can't find a death record for her. The children were sent to an orphanage in Lawrence, MA after their mother's death and were returned to their father a couple years later.
