According to the census records this Leonides is in St. Bazile, Chambly in 1880 and in Beloeil, Vercheres in 1891and in 1910 in Ware, Hampshire, Massachuesettes and are associated with St. Thomas's de Aquinas. Quebec Vital Records gives his full name as Augustine Leonideas Demers born in 1860. In 1930 both the Leonides Demers family and the Argerile Lefebvre Family are in in Springfield, Hampden, MA. census and so this is how the two families met and married. Is there any indication in the record where the Demers family came from? There is a Leonidas born to Isaie Demers and Constance Berube in 1868 baptized at St Antoine de Tilly in Quebec. There is another Leonidas born to Ambroise Demers and Marie Lambert baptized at St Romuald in 1877 also in Quebec. From the timing, either of these Leonidas could be a grandchild of Antoine and Catherine. So far, however, I don't have enough information to know if these are decendants of Antoine and Catherine.
