Our particular interest is Mattie DeLoach (born in Macon County, Georgia), wife of William T. Sangster, and who died in 1897. She died after the birth of her 2nd child and we take her age to have been mid-twenties. Her parents were Davis (DOB c. 1829) and Georgia Ann DeLoach (DOB c. 1836). Davis and Georgia had 14 children, 10 of whom were still living in 1900. Davis had a sister Augusta (DOB c. 1859), who took over the upbringing of the child Mattie left behind at her death, and who was still in the home of that child (then adult, married and with family, too) in 1920 census. We'd love to know more about Mattie and her DeLoach family.
