Lamar DeLoatch is once again organizing a reunion of the DeLoatch families centered in Northampton County, North Carolina. Those of you who have been on this mail list for some time will recall that Lamar has done extensive research on the DeLoatch family, particularly those who have descended from the slaves who worked for the DeLoatch families. His publication "DeLoatch Genealogical (Family Tree) Directory" traces these families from the 1700's to the current period. Information about the 2004 Reunion can be found here: http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~javan/desloges/announce/2004reunion.htm If you have interest in the DeLoatch Genealogical (Family Tree) Directory, you can contact Lamar at: [email protected] Mike

Cecelia Adams pointed out to me that there were several DeLoach families listed in the LDS 1880 Census CDROM set that had their surname mistakenly spelled as DELVACH. Those records have been retrieved and added to the file at: http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~javan/desloges/records/census/1880ala.htm Mike

Cuban Liquor in Shreveport used to carry it.
We have it out here. What did you get? White or red? and What kinds? Also, do a web search for the wine. You can probably buy it other places. jwh >From: "GLORIA HORTON" <[email protected]> >Reply-To: [email protected] >To: [email protected] >Subject: Re: [DELOACH-L] DeLoach Wines - Cecil DeLoach >Date: Sat, 8 Nov 2003 11:32:03 -0600 > >Three weeks ago we bought a bottle of DeLoach wine and enjoyed it very >much. I read on the net that the company had filed Chapter 11. I just believe the economy caught them in a slump after they had started another vineyard. I too think it is a fine wine but is hard for me to find it in Shreveport.
