    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/xFS.2ACIB/403.1.1 Message Board Post: Susan, I am having a problem with my outgoing mail. I replied to your response and that also bounced back - but I'm sure the trouble is on my end, not yours, as I've had ongoing bounces since the time change a week and a half ago. I'm trying to figure out what the issue is so I can fix it. Thanks for emailing me. I am the gg-grandson of Elizabeth BROWN (1830-1898, daughter of Baswell "Basil" & Lucy DeLOACH BROWN), who m. Francis Marion SHEPHERD. I saw your memorial for their burials at Flint River Cemetery in Upson Co, GA, on Find-a-Grave (thank you for doing that!), and there you mentioned that Elizabeth had borne four children. I am interested in finding out more about this family, since my information on them aside from my direct line is rather limited. I would be glad to share the information I have, if you are interested. Also, I am confident that we have a photo of Elizabeth, and probably one of Francis Marion SHEPHERD. My father owns his maternal grandparents' family Bible, which has some photos in the back. Unfortunately, only one of the slots has a name with it - a "Miss BROWN" - and that slot is empty! I have figured out who some of them must be, and others look like they are clearly kin, but I am still trying to puzzle out their identities. We also have an old photo album, again with many unidentified pictures, though we do know who quite a number of them are. My dad is the youngest in his family, and his mother was the youngest of eight, so all in the older generation were gone before I got interested in family history. I am hoping to find kin who have photos with IDs so we can compare. I am interested to know more about your DeLOACH line as well - I take it you and I are cousins through that family. Thanks again, John in TX Susan writes: Hi John, I got your message, I don't know why the e-mail bounced back to you, strange. You said you thought we might be cousins, please write me and tell me more. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Susan DeLoach Uribe

Once upon a time...well...that was a long time ago, I could have given you more info off the top of my head. I do remember that there was a Rebecca Deloach who was the first wife of Jesse Durrence (Durrance) with several children. There are many more Rebeccas. The time frame and the area is right. This may be another lead for you but I really don't know. I'll dig into my old (very old) research and send you my Rebeccas. Best of luck. Mike Durrence
