List, I'm researching the BURGIN (alternate spellings Burgan, Burgen, etc.) family in Appoquinimink Hundred, New Castle Co., in the 1700s and early 1800s. I'd love to correspond with any descendants of that family. They're hard to find. Another thing that's hard to find--at least where I am--is Delaware records. Even census records! I have the 1800 and 1850, but local libraries, even a large genealogical library in Knoxville, don't have the ones in between, even in index form. And amazingly, the Mormons haven't microfilmed them. Is there anyone who has access to any or all of those censuses, 1810-1840, even just in published index form, who could please check them for Burgins in Appoquinimink for me? I'd be EXTREMELY grateful! Thanks so much-- Ramond Burgin Big Stone Gap, VA
