His death certificate shows that he was buried in Forest Cemetary, Middletown, DE., on December 23, 1940. According to the best recall of his daughter, who died last year, his widow, Delilah Mae (Snyder) Jones, died about about 1976, but she (in her mid nineties) couldn't recall where. I was wondering if she was possibly buried with her husband. She was his second wife, so maybe his first wife was buried with him, too. (Maybe he was buried between both wives - who knows!) Charles Everett Jones was listed as a handy man for the Fire Department in Middletown, and he died upstairs from the Fire House, according to one of his Grandsons. I'm going to the FHC in Homestead, FL. this morning to see what records are available for Wilmington, Del., to start checking on his parents. Incidentally, this is my son-in-laws family. My Grandsons have several Confederate ancestors on their mother's side of the family, that I'd love to find some Union Soldiers to balance it off on their father's side. Thanks so much for your help.
