Dear List, John Robinson was born, it is said, on 5 September 1693, and died in 1744 [sources for dates unknown]. He married Alice _____, known apparently from a deed in which she is named. He MAY be the same John Robinson, of Worcester County, Maryland, who made his will on 5 May 1744, which was proved on 26 May 1744, which indicates he died between those dates, and this may be the source of the "1744" death date mentioned above. The will names no wife, and only two children, Mary and John, both minors. I am not convinced the 1744 testator is the same John who was married to Alice _____. That couple seems to have had a son, Joshua, and perhaps more children, and if John were born in 1693, as shown above, it would be a little unusual (although not impossible) that he only had two minor children in 1744.
