    1. [DELAWARE] SINEXON PAPERS
    2. Antoinette Waughtel Sorensen
    3. I have recently received a letter written in 1945 to the then State Archivist, Mr. Leon deValinger, Jr., wherein mention of these documents pertaining to the SINEXON family were being donated to the Archives in Dover, and I would like to know what these papers consist of. I would actually like to get photocopies of any of the land transactions, etc., pertaining to the SINEXON family. Is there anyone who could check this out, advise me of the contents (pages for photocopy/cost of same) and to whom I could get the copies from. I am a 9th generation from the family that in the beginning was BROER ~ one Sinnick BROER arrived in the mid 1650s, (although we were always told they had arrived in 1638 we find nothing to substantiate this yet) with 3 known sons ~ Anders, Broer & Jan and most likely a daughter whose name remains a mystery to us even today but she was married to a FALKENBERG. They were in New Castle County, and Anders & Jan "crossed over the River" into New Jersey and took the name SINNICKSON (son of Sinnick) and whereas the son Broer stayed in Delaware and was known as SINEXEN, later as SINEX. Although the surname has been spelled many various ways, they are of/and from the same progenitor ~ Sinnick BROER. Is there anyone in that vicinity who could check these papers for me, etc. I will be in your debt forever if anyone can do this. Thank you for reading this.
