Carolyn, I've done some research on Delaware Longs, but I don't know who your Milly is. "Milly" is probably a nickname, and, possibly, she is Richard's mother in law and thus not a Long by birth. Also, a lot of residents of southern DE moved to Ohio around the time of the Revolution, so it's indeed likely that you have roots in Delaware.
