Hi, all! Thanks to all of you who answered my query on the causeway. Would this be a section where poor people lived? My gggm lived with a "black man" and this was where they were living at the time in the late 1800's/early 1900s and I am wondering since that was so taboo at that time, that it was a place that was segregated from the rest of the city or that it was a very poor area of town since she was ostracized over it?
