Here are his vitals: He was born in 1885 in Cherry Hill, MD. to parents James & Mary (nee Drennen) Cole. In Aug. 1917 he married my mom in Hartford, CT. In June 1918 he was on medical leave when he had to registered for the WW-1 draft he was living at 48 No. Chapel St., in Newark, DE. at that time. By 1919 the Coles were separated. He died in June 1940 while living with his sister, Ida (Mrs. William Morrisson) at 28 Choate St., in Newark, DE. He was an officer in the Knights of Pythias, Osceola Lodge. He was a member of the Concordia Hill Lodge NO. 67 F. & A.M. of Philadelphia. He was a member of the Newark, DE. Methodist Church and a volunteer fireman. He worked in various paper mills in MD., DE., and PA. His other siblings were: William; Tolbert; Charles & Retta (Mrs. Lewis). Thank you, Jodi Our Martin Family *Samuel Martin, b. 6/25/1864 North Bowers Beach, DE, d. 6/22/1944 was married to Alice Pauline Anderson Martin, b. 3/8/1882 Philadelphia, PA, d. 6/23/1974 Milford, DE. Supposedly, Samuel is the end of a long historic line of Martin watermen and is a descendant of "Captain George Martin of Wilmington". *Alice, arrived in Dover with her brother on "The Orphan Train" from Philadelphia around 1895 and was "selected" by a Dr. ??? who lived in Bowers Beach, she never saw or heard of her brother again, he was 8 years old. *Children of Samuel and Alice: Samuel Kemp, Robert (Bobby), Rose, Mary, James Henry, Joseph, Pauline and Michael (died as a child)
