    2. Marsha McWilliams
    3. Mark, Thanks for posting your Rawley material. I have a couple of questions on William Rawley (1684/5) and wife, Rebecca Merrett. Do you have a date of this marriage and a locale? Am curious as to where Rebecca's maiden name being Merrett was found. Do you know if she had been previosly married? I've been working on the Wm. & Rebecca Rawley line but have had a lot of trouble finding out anything. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Marsha IL

    3. Hi List, Does someone have a copy of the book "Delaware marriages and deaths from newspapers, 1729 - 1853" by Mary Fallon Richards that would do a lookup for me. I am looking for the death of John Welsh in 1815 and the marriage of Arthur Weir/Wear to Margaret Shepperd/Welsh in 1816. Both of these would have been in New Castle Co. Thanks John

    1. [DELAWARE] Rawley (Rawleigh/Raleigh) family
    2. Mark L. Raulin
    3. Dear List Members: I am researching the Rawley family line. I have a James Rawley born in Somerset county, Maryland in 1659. He married Jane Wilson (Willson) who was born in Kent county, England in 1663. They had the following children: Robert, Thomas, William, James, Morris, Margaret, George, and Samuel. James later married Frances. I believe that these Rawley's are related to the Rawley line in Delaware. I believe James' son (James) who married Alice Wheeler might be where the Delaware line originates. Both lines are shown below. If someone else is researching this family line or has information, please contact me. 2. New Castle was one of the first towns in DE and was indeed a port city. It was where William Penn landed in 1684 with the Quakers. Lewes DE and present day city Chester, then known as Upland were also major port towns. Lynn

    3. Actually, she bought them all on e-bay and has marked the prices up quite a bit. She has made up this flea market story to make it sound good and is now trying to make a profit. I bid against her on some of them and she was paying outrageous prices by e-bay standards. Obviously, she has hit on the idea of e-mailing the different list-serv groups to try and drum up business even though it is not what these groups are set up for. She has already posted a message on Gen-Mat and Gen-Market. Jack in Sunny Florida ======================= ----- Original Message ----- From: "Janet A.
