Hi, Does anyone have this reference book? The title is: Milford, Delaware and the Mlford Area after 1776 by, E. Dallas Hitchens and E. Mills Hurley? There are references to my elusive WINDSOR's surname on pgs. 67, 106, 114, 178. If anyone has this book, please contact me via e-mail. I would greatly appreciate copies of these areas and am willing to compensate for the effort. Best Regards, Corleen Arrowood
I have been busily doing lookups as requested for the following books: Delaware Bible Records, Vol 2, and Delaware Marriages and Deaths from Newspapers, 1729-1853. If you've sent a request and I haven't answered it, please send it again. As of this moment, my box is empty, so, if you haven't received a response, your request might have been mistakenly deleted! I will get these out to you as quickly as possible! -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Leslie Brinkley-Lawson Genealogy Researcher http://www.genealogypro.com/lblawson.html F i tzwater Family One Name Study Remember May 16-19, 2001, NGS is at Portland, Oregon! Hello Mark Christy, if you're still on the DE List. I looked for Daniel Richardson at DE Historical Society, found nothing. Will check at Archives when I go. Lynn Sinclair
Hi Kathy Can you believe that I went to the DE Historical Society today (1st time) and remembered to look for your James Scotten. I didn't find anything for him in the Family Files section. The DHS is large and amazingly organized and I'm sure I didn't even scratch the surface of what it there. When I get to DE Archives, I'll look there for you. Lynn Sinclair .
I know you busy, but if you could find any thing on these names: Thomas Turner VAIL m: Lucy Maude ROE John Harry UNDERWOOD m: Alfarata Maude WINGATE Thank you, Riggsmag@aol.com
Leslie, Thanks for the offer. Could you see if there is a marriage of a Ryan (possibly John or Owen) to a Higgins (Mary/Maria or Norah). Thank you! I can see that you are getting swamped, but I have only one request. I am looking for a James Scotten/Scotton/Scotting. He was born Kent Delaware in 1799. His wifes name was Sarah.they married in1865 in Kentucky, but am looking for his parents. I am at a dead end. Just put me on your list and when you have time, that will be fine. thank you. kathy ----- Original Message ----- From: Leslie Lawson <Lawson@telestream.com> To: <DELAWARE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, February 20, 2001 9:48 AM Subject: [DELAWARE] Look ups > I have two books: Delaware Bible Records, Volume 2 by Donald O. Hi Leslie: It is so very nice of you to offer to help solve our Delaware mysteries! Thank you, and could you look up anything you might find on the surname Coahran, and individuals Eliza Knotts and Susan Hammond. John Coahran's marriage to both of these women is registered at the Dover Delaware Hall of Records, but I can find nothing else about them in Delaware. There is a chance you might find something about Eliza Knotts Coahran's death which would be after 1837 and before 1845. Thanks for your help. Donna Coahran Banning djbanning@mindspring.com
