Hello Listers and any others: I will reward anyone who can produce a picture of: SAMUEL EDWARD COLE (often: Edward Samuel) who was my mother's first husband. Here are his vitals: Born in 1885 in Cherry Hill, MD. to parents James & Mary (nee Drennen) Cole. In August 1917 he married my mother Clara, in Hartford, CT. In June 1918 he was on sick leave when he registered for the WW-1 draft, he lived at 48 No. Chapel St., in Newark, DE. By 1919 Sam & my mom were separated. He died in 1940 while living with his sister: Ida (Mrs. William) Morrison,at 22 Choate St., in Newark, DE. He is buried in the Methodist Church Cemetery in Cherry Hill, MD. And he was a member of the Newark, DE. Methodist Church. He was an officer in the Knights of Pythias Osceola Lodge Concordia Hill Lodge No. 67 F & A.M. of Philadelphia. He was a long time employee of various paper mills. His siblings included: Tolbert; William; Charles, Ida Morrison and Retta McCready.
