My John R. Thompson indicated he enlisted in the Delaware Militia Volunteers at Milford, Kent Co. DE on May 1814 during the war of 1812 when he was only 14 years old. He served as drummer boy (private) under the Company of Col. Woods and Capt. Adams and discharged on Nov. 1814. Does anyone know if there is a location of a web site; whereby, I could look up this Militia outfit?
