I'm looking for my gg-grandfather's family. He was b in QA co ,1770, and d QA co 1826. His wife was Elizabeth GREEN, b ca 1773, probably QA Caroline, or Kent co MD. They were m 1796. I remember seeing a listing for a Levi KNOTTS b ca 1746. Does anyone have any information on this person? I can't help but wonder if he's an uncle or some other relative to Andrew. Sara GREEN is listed as a TEMPLE by some other KNOTTS researchers. Andrew's first son was Thomas KNOTTS, so some researchers think a Thomas KNOTTS was Andrew's father. Andrew had three son's, and I believe two daughters. The sons were Thomas, b ca 1800, William (my g-grandfather),b 1805, and Joseph, b 1812. The daughters were Mary (I think b ca 1798), and the last I don't remember . All of the children were b in QA co. MD. Mary m a William TEMPLE (I think), but died young. I don't know who Thomas m. William first m Margaret M BARRATT, the granddaughter of Col Phillip BARRATT, who donated land for BARRATT's Chapel in D! E. In 1844 he m Sylvia D. WILSEY in Nauvoo, Hancock co IL. after Margaret d. Joseph m Mary Lee of the Dover area. Joseph settled in Christian Co IL, and William and Sylvia went to Oregon on the Oregon Trail in 1845-46, and settled in Benton Co Oregon abt 3 miles North of Corvallis. One of Joseph's sons, Joseph, moved to KS where he settled. I'd appreciate any help. Bob KNOTTS
