Hello I am looking for the Seward (Soward) surname. I know they were born in the Dover Hundred, Kent Co., area. But I am interested in any information pertaining to the Seward Name. My Sewards are James H. Seward (b. June 6, 1837) Wife ??? Son Oliver (b.Dec. 1860 ??)not sure on Yr. James brother (or cousin) Thomas (b 1835) and Brother (or Cousin) George W. (b. Feb. 13, 1839) Wife Sarah (b. 1835) And son Charles (b. dec 1860) all of whom were born Deleware. the three came to Michigan after the Civil war and resided for a while in Antrim Co., Michigan. James first wife died in Deleware or soon after coming to Michigan. And James was listed as John H. Seward on the 1860 Michigan Census.
