Tax records for Kent co. for this period and more are available from an LDS Church Family History Center in your community. I don't know of any significant published sources for tax records and they take a while to research but are very worthwhile. You'll probably have to order them and do the work yourself. Cost is $4.00 per roll of microfilm. Specific rolls can be determined at the FHC or on the web. Someone else can speak to deed records.
