Hi Delaware Listers: I am seeking any info on the family of my mother's first husband: SAMUEL EDWARD COLE. He lived with his sister: Ida Morrison (Mrs. William) at 28 Choate St., in Newark where he died in 1940. "Ed" Cole worked for the paper mills; was a volunteer fireman; Knights of Pythias Osceola Lodge #5; Concordia Lodge #67 of the Masons and a life-long Methodists. His parents were: James & Mary Elizabeth (nee Drennen) Cole. In addition to his sister Elizabeth (Lizzy) McCreary (who lived at 423 E. 6th St., in Wilmington, Cole also had brothers: William, Tolbert & George. I know that Tolbert and his wife Elizabeth lived at 48 Choate St., in Newark in 1920 and that Samuel Edward Cole and my mom, Clara, lived at 48 No. Chapel St., Newark at least in 1918 when "Ed" had to register for the draft while on medical leave. I will pay for any photo of Sam E. Cole and any reasonable research costs for other family information which declining health and advancing age prohibit me from doing myself.
