I am trying to find the parents of David Hammond b. 1810 married Mairah Dill in Milford, Delaware 1833. David and Mariah were in Ohio by 1840. Census records David says he was born Delaware and his parents both born Delaware. Sons of David & Mariah were: George,John,David, James, Jeremiah & Benjamin. I would bet that at least one of these is named after his father. Would anyone be searching Hammonds of Delaware. Thanks Sue
