I am certain that church is the town of St. Martinville, parish seat of St. Martin Parish. It is a beautiful church and well preserved. There is a great museum attached to the side. The town is near Lafayette and well worth the drive up there if you are in the neighborhood. The Attapakas were an indian tribe that lived in the area of Acadiana and over into Texas. Carolyn
