Following are entries from the index of the first book in question: Land Records of the Attakapas District Series Volume I, The Attakapas Domesday Book: Land Grants, Claims Confirmations in the Attakapas District, 1764-1826 DeGruy, Duffosar, 128 DeGruy, Jean-Baptiste, 128,261,262,269 DeGruy, Mme., 154, 155, 161, 162, 169 (widow of Dautrive) Aside from the entry the says "(Jean Baptiste) Degruy was Dutch", the other entries were not of much geneological value to me - mostly short legal statemets about land transfers. (I'll transcribe this entry if anyone doesn't have access to it and is interested.) I think I made a better invesment purchasing Conrad's compilation of the Abstracts of the Civil Records of St. John the Baptist Parish to 1803.
