I know you thought I had forgotten you but I haven't. I copied the Marriage Contract between Pierre St. Pe and Hortense Degruys. I am mailing it tomorrow. These documents are VERY hard to read as the document on the back of the page bleeds through and copies on the front. As nearly as I can see, you need to read every other line to know what the first page says and do the same with the second page. I didn't have the info with me to copy the other two docs. but am putting it in my car so I can get those in the next few days and send them. Please feel free to do as I told Rene. Typewrite the document in French here and put a ___________ where you cannot read the words. I can go back and try to fill in the blanks for you. Note on the index sheet her name is spelled Ortancer (the H is dropped as an British person would speak). The Clerk's office now has customers leave requests for copies and no longer allows customers to make copies for themselves. Pages 96 and 97 seem ok. Page 98 seems to have the top cut off. Read what you can and I will get that recopied. I am not certain that page 99 is part of your documents. But I cannot read enough of the French to tell (mostly I can recognize proper names).
