Hi List, This is off the subject of our Degruys, but you may find it helpful. Have you heard of Skype? It's a way to talk with friends and family computer to computer.... for free. It's a real, "live", phone call ... not email. A friend of mine in England put me on to it..... He called me from England one day and explained that if the person he is calling also has Skype, the phone call is totally free because it's going computer to computer... like email. If the person he is calling hasn't downloaded Skype, the phone call does cost him a bit, but the cost is less than any charged by regular telephone plans. He suggested that I download the program ... which I have done. You can talk through your computer's microphone... or you can get a head set and plug it into your computer... if you have a computer that will allow you to do this.
