Hi, Well I didn't realize your Pingrows were from France. I thought you meant they were in LA. I didn't check France for the name. Also re the letter... again, I thought you were talking about a letter from long ago referring to this famous duel. I wouldn't have asked you to share a "current (sort of)" letter. Hope I didn't cause a problem by my email. Bonnie, Isabel, Celine? do we have any kind of "policy" about how current or distant information should be before we share on the list? [Unless we have the permission of everyone involved] If we don't have a policy, should we have "create" one....? We're just sort of muddling through uncharted territory here... In any case, thanks for sharing.... maybe we can figure out who all these folks are. In this regard, I'm pretty much out of the loop. Since my parents divorced when I was two, I not only didn't get to know any Degruys, I hardly met any Hotards until I was an adult.
