Funeral services were held Saturday; interment was in St. Louis No. 2 cemetery at New Orleans. His surviving relatives include his widow, the former Edna Geoffrey; one daughter, Mrs. Jack Bates of Ponchatoula; three sons, Harvey H. DeGruy, Jr., Horace J. and Charles A. DeGruy; one sister, Mrs. Kinta Melburn; three brothers, Joseph S., Edgar and Louis DeGruy. ----------------------------- HAMMOND VINDICATOR; Hammond, LA. He was struck by a car. Services were Monday in Tylertown, Miss. He died in a New Orleans hospital.
