DE GRUY - At the residence, 3141 Laurel street, on Saturday, October 29, 1949, at 12 o'clock noon, BARBARA JOSEPHINE WITHMEYER, beloved wife of Louis De Gruy; mother of Mrs. Martin Wendling, Mrs. Annie Dendinger, Mrs. Earl Martina, Mrs. Izzy Kaneas, Mrs. Loren Benson of Tacoma, Wash., and Louis DeGruy, Jr.; sister of Mrs. Amy L. Graff and Dan Withmeyer, and the late Mrs. Louis La Salle; daughter of the late Josephine Halte and Dave Withmeyer; also survived by 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, aged 59 years, a native and resident of this city. Relatives and friends of the family, also employes of Waterman Steamship Company, Puerto Rico Division and Roosevelt hotel, are invited to attend the funeral, which will take place from Leitz-Egan funeral home, 2241 Magazine, corner Philip street on Monday afternoon, October 31, 1949, at 4 o'clock.
